As we get closer to the series finale of NCIS: Los Angeles, we’re concerned about running out of episodes. Will there be a new episode on tonight, Sunday, April 30?

We’re at that point where we want new episodes of NCIS: Los Angeles but we also don’t. Any more new episodes will mean we’re closer to the series finale, and we’re just not ready for this show to come to an end yet.

Yes, we are getting closer to the series finale. CBS confirmed earlier this year that it was canceling the series. It came as a surprise to many, including the cast, and off the back of a successful three-way crossover event with NCIS and NCIS: Hawaii.

For some, the good news is that we won’t get a new episode of the series tonight, Sunday, April 30. CBS is taking one last break in the schedule before a run of new episodes until the end.

When will NCIS: Los Angeles return with new episodes?

The show is only taking one week off. We’ll get to watch new episodes next Sunday, May 6, at the usual time of 10 p.m. ET/PT.

The episode will see a CIA officer among four people shot dead in broad daylight. The case likely has something to do with DRONA. At least, that’s something that the team suspects, and that’s what the team will look into.

While all that goes on, Callen is going to get to know a little more about his past. Pembrook will return with new information, and it’s only time for this to happen. We need to learn much more about Callen’s mysterious past before the series comes to an end. This could open the door for Linda Hunt to return as Hetty one last time in the series finale. We need to see her before the show ends, right?

NCIS: Los Angeles is available to stream on Paramount+.
