True Lies spoilers: What’s coming in the series finale?
True Lies is about to end its first season (and, sadly, the series) this week. What’s coming on the big two-hour finale, and could the Taskers’ secret life be revealed? Here are the True Lies spoilers you need.
The last episode of True Lies had Harry reuniting with Tucker, an old Omega Sector friend turned private operator. Harry felt indebted to Tucker for saving his life in a past mission. However, Gib wasn’t happy as he and Tucker had a beef going back to their training days. Helen also wasn’t happy with how Harry took on a “frat boy” attitude around Tucker.
The mission was to recover some dangerous data, but Harry discovered that Tucker was using him to steal it and sell it to the highest bidder. They ended up fighting, with Harry beating him while the team held off another group wanting the codes. Harry apologized to Gib for his behavior as they reaffirmed their friendship.
This sets up the big two-hour finale this week that may shift up the Tasker’s lives.
True Lies spoilers for the two-hour series finale
Sadly for fans, CBS has canceled True Lies, so this two-hour finale will now be the series finale. It begins with “Lying Truths” as the team reaches out to Max, the teenage hacker they helped in a previous episode, for help getting back data. But it’s complicated when Harry and Helen learn Max is dating Dana and worry that this may lead their daughter to find out about their spy lives.
Then in “Waking Dreams,” one spy goes missing, and the team races to find them. This leads to a wild chase that has the Taskers questioning their lives. It’s uncertain if the show will end on a cliffhanger, as this is the last mission for True Lies.
