Since Siya joined the Task Force, she’s been after one thing: more information about her mother. We have to remember that Meera died in the first season. That was 10 years ago, so Siya would have only been a child—teenager, but still a child. She wouldn’t have known her mother all that well.
It’s no wonder she took the opportunity to join the Task Force when she did. Even if she didn’t like Red and blamed him deep down for her mother’s death, she would know to use him to get information about who her mother was. It looks like this episode is going to focus on her doing more of that.

As with the last couple of episodes, there isn’t a promo for the new episode. NBC did this with Season 9, and it’s likely because there’s no risk with this show. It has a loyal fanbase that is interested in how the show will come to an end. This is one series that doesn’t need the heavy promotion.

The synopsis is out, and it tell sus what to expect. Siya will join Red on a mission, giving her a chance to learn more about her mother. Had Meera not joined the Task Force, she’d probably still be alive, but there is no guarantee of that. Siya being part of the CIA will understand that. However, that probably doesn’t stop her feelings toward Red, who she may blame for her mother’s death. He also has answers to some of her questions.
The synopsis also warns us to watch out for Congressman Hudson again. He came up in the previous episode, and now he’s back. He wants a powerful friend to join him in taking down the Task Force. Who is this friend, and what does the friend have to gain or lose? Is he going to be a threat until the end of the series?
