We’ve just had the end of another season and we want more. When will FBI: Most Wanted Season 5 premiere on CBS? It is not arriving this month.

May always brings us bittersweet moments. We get the climactic season finales of all our favorite shows, but it also means that we’re into the summer hiatus. That’s the case here. The FBI: Most Wanted Season 4 came to an end last night, Tuesday, May 23. Now it’s time for the summer break.

There are no new episodes of the series in the rest of May. We will not get to see FBI: Most Wanted Season 5 just yet. At least we will get a fifth season. Just like FBI and FBI: International, the series was renewed for two seasons back in 2022. Now we just need to know when we’ll get to watch the new episodes.

When will FBI: Most Wanted Season 5 premiere on CBS?

As of right now, CBS wants to bring the show back in the fall. Like its follow franchise shows, FBI: Most Wanted is set to return on Tuesdays. It will keep its current 10 p.m. ET/PT time slot.

That would usually mean that the premiere would happen toward the end of September. We can’t make a prediction this year, though. The writers strike is causing some major problems for production. We’re fully with the writers, but it does mean a lot of questions for the 2023–2024 season.

On top of that, the SAG union members are considering striking. We’ll know more about that at the end of June, but that would halt production and post-production. Even if the writers came to a deal, there would still be delays. We just don’t see any agreements being made any time soon. Get ready for a long strike.

ABC made a good decision in having an unscripted fall due to the strike. The scripted shows are penciled in for the start of 2024, and that’s what we may see with FBI: Most Wanted Season 5 and other network shows.
