Sunday nights have been taken over by The Blacklist, and we love it. What’s going on with the NBC schedule, though? Is a new episode on tonight, Sunday, June 4?

There aren’t many episodes of The Blacklist left. After a two-hour feature on Thursday, June 1, we’re into the final straight. There are a lot of questions of course, and we need a new episode to get some answers.

The big question right now is whether we’ll get some answers tonight, June 4? NBC opted for Sunday programming and then this week we got two episodes on Thursday. What is going on with the schedule?

When do new episodes of The Blacklist return to NBC?

There is not a new episode of the series on tonight. In fact, we won’t get any more Sunday episodes. With the summer now in full swing, NBC has opted to put The Blacklist back on Thursdays. It does make the most sense when you consider that Sundays are going to be used for traveling, relaxing, and spending time with the family outside.

Thursday, June 1 was the first night of this move. We’ll get a new episode this Thursday, June 8. The show is then going to have a week off before returning for its final run of episodes on Thursday, June 22. There is a lot of ground to cover before the end.

It’s worth noting that the episode time is also changing. It will air at 8 p.m. ET/PT instead of 10 p.m. ET/PT. This also makes sense as people aren’t going to want to wait around until the end of the night to check out a new episode. While it is the final season, NBC will still want to do it right in terms of live ratings.
