The Lincoln Lawyer Season 1 DVD release date confirmed for August
The Lincoln Lawyer Season 1 is going to become one of the rare Netflix shows to get a DVD release. But when does it actually come out?
Netflix, as can be expected, doesn’t release a lot of its original shows on DVD. After all, the whole point of the service is to have viewers tune in on streaming and binge it. But from time to time, Netflix will put one of their series on DVD as it’s a good way to reach people who don’t subscribe to the service and this might tempt them to join.
The Lincoln Lawyer is now one of them. Based on the novels by Michael Connelly, the series stars Manuel Garcia-Rulfo as Mickey Haller, a crusading attorney who works most of his cases out of his Lincoln town car. Season 1 focused on Mickey taking on a case from a late colleague only to stumble onto a complex murder plot.
Co-starring Neve Campbell, Becki Newton, Angus Sampson and Jazz Raycole, Season 1 was a good success to earn a renewal. Season 2 will begin streaming on July 6. So to prepare for it, Netflix is releasing the first season on DVD in August.
When does The Lincoln Lawyer Season 1 come out on DVD?
Season 1 is scheduled to be released on DVD and Blu-Ray on Tuesday, August 15. The two-disc set will contain all 10 Season 1 episodes with the only bonus feature being a blooper reel.
So for those without Netflix, this will be a good way to catch the adventures of Mickey and perhaps want to subscribe to the service to binge Season 2 as well.
While not available at the time of writing this, fans will be able to pre-order The Lincoln Lawyer Season 1 on DVD on Amazon very soon.
