While we have a lot of questions about storylines in Alert: Missing Persons Unit Season 2, there’s one about the series we have on our minds right now. Will we see Season 2 premiere this year?

We would love to get some details about the storylines in Alert: Missing Persons Unit Season 2. There was a lot that Season 1 brought up that didn’t wrap up. The big focus at the end was finding out the identity of the boy claiming to be Keith.

Of course, we have questions about where the real Keith is now. The family seems to accept that he died and they gained some closure. The hardest part as a parent is the not knowing. However, there’s a lot more to delve into, including how relationships will turn after the series of events in the finale.

So, we need to know when we’ll get to watch the episodes. This is where we have some potentially bad news.

Alert: Missing Persons Unit Season 2 may not arrive in 2023

There is a chance that Alert: Missing Persons Unit Season 2 will not premiere on FOX in 2023. This was even without the writers strike disrupting production. Because of that disruption, FOX chose not to even set up a fall schedule right away.

But without it, there was always a chance that this series would remain a midseason one. It didn’t perform the best in the live ratings, but they were good for the way the network has been performing recently. To manage the risk, FOX may have decided to keep it as a midseason series with 911 Lone Star being the only definite midseason show to move to the fall.

We’ll have to wait and see what happens with the strike action. That’s going have a huge effect on the fall schedule and when scripted shows are able to return.
