FBI: Most Wanted Season 5 is not coming to CBS in August 2023
We’re ready to see the Most Wanted team continue taking down the most dangerous criminals. When will FBI: Most Wanted Season 5 premiere on CBS?
While FBI: Most Wanted Season 4 didn’t end with a major cliffhanger, we still want more. This is a series with a lot of action and some great personal storyline development. The bad news is we won’t get to see it just yet. It’s not on the list of premieres on CBS in August.
Of course, we didn’t expect that to be the case. This is one of the big scripted dramas on the network, which means it takes the summer off. The earliest we would usually expect it is in September, but that’s not going to happen this year, either.
When will FBI: Most Wanted Season 5 premiere on CBS?
We have a bit of a wait on our hands. CBS wanted to bring the show back in the fall. At the May Upfronts, we learned that the plan was for it to take the usual Tuesday night slot at the end of the night. However, things changed.
While the writers strike had just started at the time of the May Upfronts, it’s continued into the summer. Now the actors have joined the strike, and it is showing no signs of slowing down. Studios haven’t come to the table with a fair deal, which means nobody is going back to work any time soon.
Once the actors went on strike, CBS looked at reworking the fall schedule. There will be some FBI reruns, but it looks like it could just be the flagship series. There are no signs that this is a franchise rerun slot for the fall.
The earliest we’ll see FBI: Most Wanted Season 5 is in January 2024. We’ll be sure to keep an eye on all plans for the series moving forward.
FBI: Most Wanted is available to stream on Paramount+.
