CSI: Vegas Season 3 is not coming to CBS in August 2023
We’ve loved having the Vegas Crime Lab back in action. We’re ready for more, but when will CSI: Vegas Season 3 premiere on CBS?
For the last two seasons, we’ve watched the Vegas Crime Lab back in action. The first season saw Grissom and Sara return to help with the main case, but we also got to see the new members of the team deal with their individual cases each week.
In the second season, Catherine Willows returned to help with the situation. That even saw the return of another familiar face. In fact, there have been a few familiar faces back over the last two seasons, and we would love to see more.
The question now is when CSI: Vegas Season 3 is even going to premiere. What we do know is not to expect it in August. That’s not surprising with it being a main-season series. Why would CBS want to air it in the summer when the live ratings are at their lowest?
When will CSI: Vegas Season 3 premiere on CBS?
CBS did bring us some disappointment when it came to the May Upfronts. We learned that CSI: Vegas Season 3 would be held for the midseason.
That wasn’t all that terrible news, though. You see, we had a feeling that everything scripted was going to end up being held for the midseason. The writers were on strike back in May. The actors joined the writers in July. CBS had to change its fall plans, and that meant pushing its scripted fare to the midseason.
We don’t yet know when anything is going to premiere. We also don’t know what the midseason will look like and where CSI: Vegas will be able to fit into it all with all of scripted being pushed back. We’ll need to wait until when the writers and actors go back to work to get some sort of idea about how it will all run.
CSI: Vegas is available to stream on Paramount+.
