The Chelsea Detective returns for another season on Acorn TV. What time can you stream The Chelsea Detective Season 2 premiere?

DI Max Arnold is back in four feature-length episodes of The Chelsea Detective. Adrian Scarborough is joined by Vanessa Emme for the season. Emme will play Detective Sergeant Layla Walsh, who joins Chelsea CID from Exeter, which gives us an exciting new dynamic to the season.

In this second season, we’ll see the dark side of London’s richest people. Arnold knows this side of London all too well. Some of the most luxurious homes and art galleries have the most dangerous people, and it’s going to be up to Arnold and Walsh to uncover them.

It all starts in the first episode on Monday, Aug. 28. An art gallery manager is stabbed during an exhibition robbery. It looks like this manager was simply in the wrong place at the wrong time, but that’s not what Arnold realizes. He soon looks into whether this victim was actually an accomplice.

When do new episodes of The Chelsea Detective Season 2 air on Acorn TV?

The new episodes will arrive on the streamer at 3 a.m. ET/12 a.m. PT. The Chelsea Detective Season 2 is released weekly, so there is only one episode coming on Monday, Aug. 28.

The remaining three episodes will arrive weekly, with the finale airing on Monday, Sept. 18. With the feature-length episodes, this season isn’t going to feel as short as it is. The best thing is, though, that we don’t have filler content and multiple red-herrings as we get to the bottom of the case.

It looks like the series is only going to be on Acorn TV and not on AMC+ as well. Sometimes, shows on other AMC Network streamers head to AMC+.
