Coroner is one of the TV crime dramas to watch from Oct. 5 to 9

It’s a new week, and we’re looking for more TV crime dramas to watch. While a new season of Coroner begins, it’s the streaming services that have us covered this week.

We’re still holding on for the fall shows to return. Some CBS shows are still filming, while some of the CW shows have had to halt or postpone production. The good news is that Walker will begin production on Oct. 30 and we should see many of our favorite shows return next month.

For now, here are the 5 TV crime dramas to watch this week.

LA’s Finest

The first season of LA’s Finest continues on FOX this week with Episode 3, “Con Air.” It’s not a criminal takeover on a plane, though. Instead, Syd and McKenna need to investigate a body that seems to just fall out of the sky. How is that possible?

There’s more about the past in this episode. The two realize they need to trust each other.

The episode airs tonight at 8/7c on FOX.

Coroner Season 2 premieres

More from TV Crime Dramas

Next up is the second season of Coroner, which premieres on Wednesday. The episode kicks off as it means to go on. Jenny connects to a woman from a low-income apartment building that has caught fire. While she does her thing, McAvoy is pulled in a different direction.

The premiere airs on Wednesday at 9/8c.

Bloodlines

Acorn TV is the place to turn for the next two shows. Bloodlines is first, focused on the true story of one of New Zealand’s evilist crimes every committed. The thriller takes us back to 1999 when Dr. Colin Bouwer thought he had committed the perfect murder. What happens when a young physician figures out the truth?

The 2010 movie is available now.

The Gulf

Need a series that you can binge-watch, stick with Acorn TV. The Gulf is a six-part psychological thriller that follows Detective Jess Savage. When she’s involved in a car crash that claims the life of her husband, Jess starts down a dangerous path of fear and suspicion. She’s sure that the accident was someone trying to kill her. The problem is, she also has to fight an addiction to morphine and there are three cases to figure out.

The Gulf is available in full right now.

Interview with a Murderer

Finally, we’re turning our attention to Sundance Now. Interview with a Murderer is a three-part true-crime docuseries. Criminologist David Wilson conducted a series of interviews with Bert Spencer, a convicted murderer suspected of an infamous killing of a young boy in 1978. What does Wilson find out?

Check out the series on Tuesday, Oct. 6.
