Blue Bloods Season 14 is not coming to CBS in September 2023

There was a point when we feared Blue Bloods Season 14 wouldn’t happen. Now we have the great news that it will, but when will it premiere?

Despite the strong performance on Friday nights, there was a point we feared the worst for Blue Bloods. The negotiations for the renewal took a little longer than we’d like, and we know that all good things eventually have to come to an end.

The great news is that’s not happening just yet. CBS did renew Blue Bloods, and now we’re just waiting for the 14th season to premiere. This is where we have some bad news, though. Despite fall starting up this month, we won’t see the Tom Selleck drama return.

That means October, right? After all, we have seen this show return in October during a normal schedule before. This is where we have a lot of bad news.

When will Blue Bloods Season 14 premiere on CBS?

The series won’t return in October, either. And you won’t see it in November. Blue Bloods Season 14 is not on the list of shows premiering on CBS in 2023.

This isn’t because of the performance of the show. It’s all to do with the current strike action in Hollywood. Everything has been delayed. While CBS wanted to bring us a normal fall, by July, it was clear that couldn’t happen.

Now all eyes are on when production can start back up. That will give us an idea as to when we can expect our favorite broadcast shows to return. The sooner the better, but we only want the writers and actors to agree to fair deals.

January 2024 is the absolute earliest we’ll see the shows, but there’s no guarantee of that. We’ll keep an eye on the progress and any news coming from the networks.
