Found Season 1 is not coming to NBC in September 2023
NBC has a couple of new shows arriving in the fall, and Found is one of them. When will the series premiere air on the Peacock network?
Found Season 1 was originally planned for the midseason in the 2022–2023 season. Plans changed, and NBC opted to push the show to the fall of 2023. This was before the strike action started, but it could have been a way to preempt what had been discussed for a while. It certainly turned into a good decision.
The series is ready to go. We are getting it this fall, but we won’t get to see the series premiere in September. There isn’t too long left to wait for it, though.

When will Found Season 1 premiere on NBC?
You only have to wait one more month. And really, it won’t feel like a month. NBC has set the premiere date for Found as Tuesday, Oct. 3.
This is a show that will end the night, taking over the former New Amsterdam timeslot of 10/9c. This is usually a tricky timeslot, but things could be very different this fall. After all, ABC has a lineup full of unscripted content and CBS will air reruns in that timeslot on Tuesdays. This could be a great opportunity for Found to find its audience.
The series is focused on finding missing people. In our world today, more than 600,000 people are reported missing. More than half of those people are people of color, and yet, their stories don’t get as much attention as white people who go missing. Public relations specialist, Gabi Mosely, in the series wants to change that.
Gabi, played by Shanola Hampton, wants to bring to light the case that are often ignored. She works with a dedicated team who all have their own demons to contend with as they go out into the world and find the missing.
Found will premiere on Tuesday, Oct. 3 at 10/9c and stream on Peacock the following day.
