Psycho: The Lost Tapes of Ed Gein has gone into more of the twisted mind that has inspired movies and TV. Here’s a look inside the third episode.

The third episode of Psycho: The Lost Tapes of Ed Gein looks more and more into the house of horrors that Ed set up. It’s this house of horrors that inspired a lot of movies and TV shows, including The Silence of the Lambs.

The episode also delves into where he was held and the police work at the time. The cops didn’t want the stain on the community and needed to get to the bottom of the situation. However, they didn’t want many of the details getting out as that would make the town look even worse. What happened when Ed was held?

Psycho: The Lost Tapes of Ed Gein sneak peek

Take a look at the sneak peek of Psycho: The Lost Tapes of Ed Gein Episode 3 below. It goes into where Ed was kept.

The prison has since become a historical museum. Everything on the inside of the building has been preserved as it was in the 1950s, although the clip doesn’t take us in. While some of the outside has been updated, you can still see the way the windows were set up, and we get a look at Ed’s cell from the outside.

The clip also briefly goes into the mindset of the cops at the time. This is sure to be something the episode delves into further. Just what were the cops willing to do to wrap up the case quickly, and was that necessarily going to be the best thing for the children?

Here’s the clip. Just a word of warning that it’s only available to view in the United States.
