Magnum PI is rolling with a new episode of Magnum and Higgins on a unique undercover assignment. Here’s a preview of what to expect for Season 5, Episode 13 with these Magnum PI spoilers!

The last episode of Magnum PI had a few unique turns. The main case had Magnum and Higgins helping a friend of Kumu’s who lost her life savings to a con man she’d met online. However, the man turned out to be a victim himself, part of human trafficking forced to work for a ring of scammers. He’d really fallen for Kumu’s friend, and his bosses punished him for not wanting to continue the scam.

Magnum and Higgins worked with the cops to rescue the man and shut the ring down. Kumu’s friend was happy to learn the man’s feelings for her were real.

Meanwhile, TC had trouble handling his paralysis, pushing away the others. It took a visit from his mother for TC to acknowledge he could use some help as he tried to fight through his therapy.

Rick was ready to go on a date with Piper, the woman he’d met at the marina. But, all the preparation for it made Rick realize all he really wanted was to be with his ex-girlfriend Suzy. He went to her home, poured out his heart to her and Suzy welcomed him in as it appeared they were ready to try again.

So that was a good episode to build on the relationships, and this week looks even better!

Magnum PI spoilers for Season 5, Episode 13

“Appetite for Danger” has Magnum and Huggins trying to find out who abducted a chef from a fancy restaurant. This has them enlisting Katsumoto to pose as the chef in what looks like a fun storyline.

Meanwhile, Kumu will have to face a dark chapter in Hawaii’s history involving the internment of Japanese-Americans during World War II.

"“Magnum and Higgins enlist Katsumoto to go undercover when a chef at a high-end restaurant goes missing. Kumu works with Cade at the Cultural Center, confronting one of America’s darker chapters – the internment of Japanese Americans in the wake of Pearl Harbor.”"

Seeing Katsumoto joining Magnum and Higgins on a case and showing his cooking skills should be great. It’s also intriguing to see what Kumu discovers facing the difficult legacy of the internment camps.

It should hopefully also explore more of Rick and Suzy’s reunion and TC’s continuing recovery as Magnum PI Season 5 continues a good run of final episodes.
