When will FBI: Most Wanted Season 5 premiere on CBS?
FBI: Most Wanted will have a different look in Season 5. Here’s when fans can finally see FBI: Most Wanted Season 5 premiere on CBS.
The first spin-off of the FBI franchise has been a huge success for CBS but, like all network shows, has faced the issues of the combined WGA and SAG strikes hitting Hollywood over the summer.
That delayed the 2023-24 season with concerns that there may not be any regular scripted network dama until fall 2024. Thankfully, the WGA strike was settled in September, and the SAG strike finally in early November, so CBS can start production on shows.
FBI: Most Wanted will see a shakeup as, over the summer, the surprising news broke that Alexa Davalos was leaving the series. It appeared the decision was made after the Season 4 finale with Davalos told first.
That leaves a question of how her Kristin Gaines character will be written off, but at least fans know when that’s answered.
When does FBI: Most Wanted Season 5 premiere?
As part of their big announcements for the new 2023-24 season, CBS confirmed that all three FBI shows will be returning on Tuesday, Feb. 13. This is good as it comes after CBS airing the Super Bowl and is perfect for the traditional February sweeps period.
It’s expected FBI: Most Wanted Season 5 will have only 13 episodes to maintain momentum. So far, CBS has not announced any replacement for Davalos or if she’ll make an appearance in the Season 5 premiere to write off the character.
Season 5 will continue the subplots from Remy discovering he has a nephew to Hana handling the effects of her abduction.
So, while Season 5 has yet another new face joining the FBI: Most Wanted team, at least fans know when it’s coming to TV screens in 2024!
FBI: Most Wanted is available to stream on Paramount+.
