It’s not easy getting in the mind of killers. That’s something a lot of lawyers have to do when they’re prosecuting the worst of the worst. Kelly Siegler has certainly seen her fair share of harrowing cases.

In a new series for Oxygen, she takes us into some of those cases. It wasn’t easy for her to get some of the cases even into the courtroom, but she refused to let the victims and their families down. We get to see the battles, the evidence, and more in Prosecuting Evil with Kelly Siegler.

Prosecuting Evil with Kelly Siegler Episode 1 sneak peek

The series begins this Saturday, Nov. 18 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Oxygen. It’s certainly worth a look to see the darker side of prosecution cases and the difficulties many of the lawyers can have.

In the first episode, we get a look at the murder of Jeffrey Wright. She was killed by his wife, but of course, it was going to be difficult to prove that a woman would be able to overpower a man so easily. That’s where the evidence comes into play.

The sneak peek gives us just an idea of how Kelly had to prove that Jeffrey was tied down and tortured before he was killed. She needed to show the full plan from torture to the burial in their backyard, and that takes us to a very particular drawing that Kelly had made to make sure the jury could see it all.

What’s interesting is that Kelly makes a point of asking about a mattress. This mattress was to the bed where Jeffrey was tied up and stabbed. It turns out that the mattress was such a biohazard that it had to be burned, giving you an idea of what the man had to go through before his death.
