It’s finally time for the new 911 series, and the trailer already makes it clear that this is going to be a soapy mess (and we’re here for it!). The 911: Nashville premieres on Thursday, Oct. 9, and we have all the details to make sure you don’t miss a beat.

The series is taking Doctor Odyssey’s timeslot from last year, which makes a lot of sense. After all, a 911 series has to go straight after the flagship on ABC, doesn’t it? After it airs, stick around for Grey’s Anatomy for the soapy medical drama, and you have a full night of craziness and entertainment.

How to watch 911: Nashville live

The new series will premiere on Thursday, Oct. 9, which is a little later than we were initially expecting. However, it’s okay, because now the show is here, and we should get some uninterrupted weeks before Thanksgiving.

If you have cable, then you can tune into ABC at 9/8c to catch 911: Nashville. You’ll likely be sticking around after 911 season 9, right?

What if you cut the cord? There are a few ways to still watch live, such as Hulu Live, Fubo TV, and Sling TV. Pick the option that suits you best!

How to watch 911: Nashville the next day

Life gets busy, and we don’t always get to watch our favorite shows live. Plus, if you’re like me, then you also need to fit Matlock in at the same time! So, you may need to watch the following day, and it’s going to be easy with 911: Nashville.

The episode will air on Hulu the following day. You’ll be able to catch up around 3 a.m. ET/12 a.m. PT on Fridays, so it’s there as soon as you need it.

What to expect in 911: Nashville

This new series is full of crazy saves, just as we’ve come to expect from this franchise. On top of that, there’s some music, because why not have music when it’s set in Nashville?

Oh, and there’s some soapy drama. The trailer confirmed everything that we expected: Ryan and Blue are half-brothers, and it looks like Ryan had no idea. However, it looks like Blue was told something, and there’s sure to be resentment there.

When Blue is invited to the firehouse, the two half-brothers will need to find a way to get along with all these family secrets coming out. It doesn’t help that Blue’s mom is sure to cause drama with Ryan’s mom, because she comes across as the jealous, bitter ex right now. Let’s see what Don really did back in the day, because he is not an innocent party in all of this!

911: Nashville airs on Thursdays at 9/8c on ABC.
