911 gave us a great three-part opener to season 8 and now is time to get into the nitty gritty of the season. With the fourth episode due to come out soon, we’re breaking down what we know and can expect based on the trailer and synopsis. From the looks of things, it will focus on Hen and Karen’s attempts to get their foster care license back.

In the season 8 premiere, we got a glimpse of Hen and Karen as they continued to make sure to see Mara while she was living with Chimney and Maddie. It does seem as though it is beginning to weigh on Hen that Mara and Chimney have fun together and she is missing out on so many things since at the end of the day, she and Karen have to leave her there.

How will Hen and Karen navigate another hurdle in 911 season 8, episode 4?

It was also mentioned that they have a hearing to get their foster care license renewed, but this may prove difficult according to the synopsis. It looks like the couple will be facing another hurdle when it comes to getting Mara back. What could that be, though?

The only thing that makes sense is when Hen briefly had to go back to being acting captain when Gerrard was hurt. She became acting captain due to Buck inadvertently saving Gerrard’s life despite the fact that he didn’t know if he was trying to do that or attack him. Knowing how Ortiz likes to twist things for her own benefit, is this something she may try to use against Hen?

Hen didn’t do anything wrong, but knowing Ortiz, she’ll do anything to make Hen suffer. And with Gerrard trying to act all buddy-buddy with Buck for saving him, maybe this will lead to everyone pulling together to help Hen out. Then again, this is just speculation, so the show could play this out completely differently and bring up a situation we don't know about!

Other than the situation with Hen and Karen, it looks like the team will be responding to a call regarding a group of cheerleaders who were involved in a collision during practice. Then another call involves…a tiger?

After the events of the last episode with Athena and a literal child landing a plane, we’ll accept that anything can happen on this show! We’re just excited to be enjoying season 8!
