911 aired an amazing episode for Halloween last week, but does that mean we will get to see a new one air on Halloween itself? Unfortunately, fans will have to wait to see a new episode from the hit ABC show.

Season 8, episode 5 focused on Halloween itself, with the characters dressing up and putting on a Halloween Haunted House Fest that did not end so great for Evan Buckley (Oliver Stark). What he thought was a realistic dummy turned out to be an actual corpse, and he spent the episode thinking he was cursed due to injuring his shoulder and waking up covered in boils.

The episode also featured Hen (Aisha Hinds) and Karen Wilson’s (Tracie Thoms) family as they celebrated, but things took a turn when their son, Denny (Declan Pratt), became injured after being hit by a speeding vehicle.

When will 911 season 8, episode 6 on ABC?

Thankfully, Denny was okay and while Buck was still covered in boils at the end, burying the body and a request for the curse to be lifted from his boyfriend, Tommy (Lou Ferrigno Jr.), likely saved Buck from having to deal with the boils for another day.

So even though we got to watch this episode Halloween-themed episode of 911, we do have to wait another week for a new episode. Instead, ABC will be airing a repeat of the game show Press Your Luck, with its Halloween episode.

Instead, the next episode of 911, “Confessions,” will air on Thursday, Nov. 7, at 8/7c. Based on the synopsis and the promo, we have a feeling this will be a callback to the season 3 episode, “Eddie Begins,” since both episodes dealt with an emergency involving a well.

Plus, the synopsis brings up an emergency involving someone dealing with a divorce, and Eddie Diaz (Ryan Guzman) still has lingering feelings about his wife, Shannon, and her death years prior. She had asked for a divorce right before her death, literally one day before, and he has yet to really heal from that aspect of their relationship. We’re excited to see them further his storyline since he is still dealing with his son, Christopher, being in Texas after the events of the season 7 finale.

9-1-1 airs Thursdays on ABC at 8/7c. You can catch up on previous episodes on Hulu.
