There has been a lot of hope on 911 in the last two episodes. Hen is working toward fighting against her disease, while Harry is now a firefighter at the 118. So, now it’s time for the 118 to tackle a house on fire on 911 season 9 episode 10.
However, the promo hints that something wild is going to happen. There is no way Athena is actually walking into a house that’s on fire, is she?
Athena is entering a house on 911 season 9 episode 10
The cutting of the promo suggests that she’s walking into the house that the 118 is attending. There is absolutely no way that that is going to be the case. Chimney would never allow Athena to walk in, and Athena knows the dangers of fire. She’s not just going to calmly walk into the building.
On top of that, she’s showing no signs of walking near the smoke. She would have her arm over her mouth and be coughing. Instead, she calmly calls out “LAPD,” suggesting that she is at a completely different house call.
There isn’t anything in the synopsis that helps us understand this storyline, but it could be linked to Eddie and Hen’s situation.
This is going to be one of Harry’s first calls, and it’s not going to be an easy one. After all, not only is there a woman on the ground unconscious with the fire surrounding her, but there’s a child in the kitchen. That child opens the kitchen cabinet to get the fire extinguisher, only to end up burning his hand, which is exactly why Maddie said not to touch it!
Harry’s first day as a probie proves to be more challenging than Chimney expects. Meanwhile, Eddie and Hen are called into court over a former patient that brings back some old demons.

Hen and Eddie are called to court on 911
We’ll still get to see plenty of Hen despite her not being able to work with the 118 right now. She and Hen are called into court, and it’s because of a former patient. Is it possible that they are there as witnesses, or are they being sued for actions that they took?
It’s not clear who the former patient is, and with eight seasons of storylines available for the two of them, it’s hard to even guess. Whatever it is, the case will bring back some painful memories, and it’s certainly where Athena could come in. If it’s not a case we’ve already seen, it’s possible that we’ll get some flashbacks, and it’s Athena who calls in the 118 to help.
911 airs on Thursdays at 8/7c on ABC.
