It has been a hellish wait for 911 season 9 to return. The winter break has been long, but fortunately not as long as previous seasons. 911 season 9 episode 7 airs tonight, Thursday, Jan. 8, and we are ready for it.
The last we left the 118, there were a lot of questions about Hen’s health. She suffered from tremors at first, but those tremors soon became a lot more serious. By the end of the episode, she decided to head to the health spa for a full body scan, paying in cash to ensure nobody would find out about what she was doing.
Now we’re ready to find out what is wrong, while also checking out what’s going on with the rest of the 118. After all, Chimney is now officially the captain, and Harry is ready to enter the Fire Academy.

What to expect on 911 season 9 episode 7
Titled “Secrets,” Hen has learned what is wrong with her, and whatever it is, it’s not good. She is willing to tell Athena, but she doesn’t want others to know, because she doesn’t want this to be the end of her story. The problem is that if this is serious, it could put other lives at risk — both in terms of victims that they’re supposed to be saving and her fellow firefighters.
In fact, the promo has left us on the edge of our seats since it aired after the fall finale. Hen is sent into a burning building for victim recovery, but as she wanders around, she collapses. Chimney is calling out for her through the radio, but she’s probably not able to respond, and that will lead to others having to go in.
Hen’s attempts at keeping her mysterious health issues private are starting to impact more than just her physical well-being. Meanwhile, Buck and Ravi decide Eddie needs a night out on the town.
Meanwhile, we’ll get to see Buck, Eddie, and Ravi head out on a night on the town. Eddie has been through the ringer the last few episodes with the loss of his mom, but he seems to finally be in a place where he can accept death. With some hope, this allows him to move forward in life, whatever that may look like for him.
911 airs on Thursdays at 8/7c on ABC.
