Fresh off the success of Bosch, Madison Lintz is about to land another series based on a popular crime novel series, and this time as the lead!
Bosch was one of the more underrated crime shows of the last decade. One of Prime Video’s first original shows, it nicely adapted the popular Michael Connelly novels with Titus Welliver in the title role of Harry Bosch, an LAPD detective handling dark cases.
The show ran for seven successful seasons. It was then followed by Bosch: Legacy, where Bosch quits the LAPD and becomes a private eye. That ended earlier in 2025 but immediately spun off Ballard with Maggie Q as cop Renee Ballard and Welliver making cameos as Bosch.
Also among the cast was Madison Lintz as Bosch’s daughter, Maddie. The character wonderfully developed over the show, going from a troubled teenager to a confident young woman. Bosch: Legacy had Maddie joining the LAPD herself as a patrolwoman and working with her father.
While Bosch has ended, Lintz won’t be out of work long as Variety reports she’s now getting a lead role in the planned show Eve Ronin that can boost her stardom up!

What is Eve Ronin about?
A six-book series by Lee Goldberg, Eve Ronin began with 2020’s Lost Hills. The title character is a low-level deputy in Los Angeles who goes viral with her arrest of an abusive movie star caught on video and is seen as a heroine. Needing good press after some scandals, the higher-ups make Eve the youngest detective in the history of the LAPD. Now, she works cases while clashing with older cops resentful of her sudden rise.
The series has no network yet while produced by Craig Dorfman, Lorraine Toussaint, Derek Dudley, Shelby Stone and Goldberg. Lintz herself had a statement on joining the show.
“I am beyond thrilled to bring Eve Ronin to life. From the moment I picked up Lee’s books, I knew this was a character and a story I needed to be a part of. Eve’s determination, complexity, and resilience make her a dream role, and I am honored to take on this challenge on both sides of the camera.”
Goldberg also praised the casting, stating, “Madison is the embodiment of Eve Ronin. She brings both the raw intensity and vulnerability that define the character. Her passion for the project, coupled with her talent, ensures that the series will stay true to the heart of the books while taking Eve’s story in bold new directions.”
The show is right up the alley of any Bosch fans. Indeed, Connelly himself has praised the Ronin books, which are notable for her as a free spirit type (it’s no coincidence “ronin” is the Japanese term for a masterless samurai) whose greatest challenges aren’t criminals but her fellow cops and the public.
Lintz can be wonderful in the role, using the grit and determination she showed as Maddie for Eve. Like Maddie, Eve rises up from patrol officer to a starring part and some intriguing dynamics in her personal life. Lintz was already a scene-stealer on Bosch and deserves a starring role.
There’s no word on when production begins but with a top star lined up, Eve Ronin can fill the Bosch-sized hole for lovers of great crime dramas.
Bosch and Bosch: Legacy are currently streaming on Prime Video.
