The cat is out of the bag for Torres in Chicago PD, and now he needs to fix his mistakes. Take a look at what to expect in Chicago PD season 12, episode 8.

This is sure to be a big episode. After all, it is the fall finale. We’re going into a lengthy break after this—although nowhere near as long as 911’s upcoming break! It will likely mean a cliffhanger ending, though, and will that be Torres fired from Intelligence?

Torres’s relationship is out in Chicago PD season 12, episode 8

The previous episode saw the return of Gloria. To be honest, the previous episode could have done better in not revealing Gloria would be part of the episode. There was a lot of focus on what it would mean for Torres and Burgess. However, having the question about who Zibata was would have been a much better tease.

We’re here, though. The relationship is out, and now Torres needs to fix his mistake. As Voight says, he needs to put his guilt to one side. It’s time to focus on getting the drugs back to keep Chicago safe.

On top of that is Cook being taken. Her cover was blown in the previous episode, which wasn’t all that surprising. It’s not like covers haven’t been blown in the past, and Cook is relatively new to this. What we get as viewers is a chance to see how she’ll react to the situation. We’ll have a chance to see her think on the spot, and there are already hints that she can do that.

It also gives Torres more motivation to get out and save her. He needs to stop feeling bad for Cook being in the position she’s in and focus on saving her.

We also need to see the type of punishment Voight will dish out. It’s not just Torres in trouble. Burgess knew and she kept it a secret. Voight won’t like that, especially from his detective. He will protect them, but he could struggle to trust them again. It’s even harder with Deputy Chief Reid breathing down their necks. What does that man want?
