It’s been a long winter break, but it’s almost over. Chicago PD season 13 episode 8 air tonight, Wednesday, Jan. 7, and we’ll get to find out what’s going to happen to Eva Imani, the newest member of Intelligence.

The fall finale ended with her heading into Julie’s house alone to look for the child. It’s clear that the young girl was trying to get hold of Imani, realizing that she was in danger, but her grandfather has taken her somewhere. Now it’s time for Intelligence to get on the hunt, and we know Voight won’t sit back and allow a young child to become a victim.

What time is Chicago PD season 13 episode 8 on NBC?

The new episode will air tonight, Wednesday, Jan. 7 on NBC. It will air at the usual time of 10 p.m. ET/PT, straight after new episodes of Chicago Med and Chicago Fire. Yes, the whole of One Chicago Wednesday is back!

NBC is relatively easy to watch live, as you can do so via your regular cable provider. Have you cut the cord? There are still some limitations to watching via online options at the time of writing this, as a deal with Fubo TV still hasn’t been struck. However, you can watch via YouTube TV right now.

If you can’t stay up to watch live, then there’s some great news. Chicago PD season 13 episode 8 will be on Peacock on Thursday, Jan. 8. The episodes usually drop at 6 a.m. ET/3 a.m. PT.

What to expect on Chicago PD season 13 episode 8

The winter premiere will pick up off the back of the fall finale cliffhanger. Imani got into Raymond Bell’s home after getting a dropped call from Julie, and while searching the house, we saw Raymond watching her. The promo makes it clear that Raymond will try to kill Imani, but she’s not an easy one to take down.

Voight and the team work together to uncover the truth of the Bell case before more lives are lost.

The entire team will need to work together to unravel the Bell case. Imani rushing in has likely made things difficult, considering she was told to stand down, but how could she ignore that call? Nobody could, and Voight likely won’t reprimand her for it. They need to figure out the case before it’s too late, though, and it looks like Julie’s life could be on the line.

We will also likely get a little bit more about the person leaving the envelopes for Voight. He has Trudy on the case, but she doesn’t have any answers just yet. Someone wants Voight to resign, though. Could this be linked to the blackmailing at the start of the season?

Chicago PD airs on Wednesdays at 10/9c on NBC.
