It’s Juarez’s last day as a rookie, and you’ll want to see how it all plays out. Remember The Rookie airs an hour earlier tonight, Tuesday, Feb. 18.
With High Potential season 1 coming to an end, it means ABC is changing up its schedule a little. There isn’t another series to put on Tuesday nights right now, so ABC is pulling The Rookie an hour earlier than it’s aired the last few weeks. Make sure you tune in at 9 p.m. ET/PT tonight, Tuesday, Feb. 18.
This is a good thing for The Rookie. We know that the 10 p.m. ET/PT timeslot is a hard one. This is the case across all the networks and across all the nights. The only late timeslot of the week that performed well was Fridays when Blue Bloods aired on CBS. People don’t want to stay up so late, so they’ll watch on streaming the following day.
The Rookie gives Juarez a chance to get off probation
The new episode is a big one for Juarez. It’s her last day as a rookie, and more than Nolan will put her to the test. There is a huge bust happening, and we know from the promo that the criminals will jump into the police car and steal it. I’m suddenly reminded of the drunk guy who steals the cop car and realizes the mess he’s in. These criminals likely won’t drive back to return the car, though!
Ricky Whittle guest stars in the episode as one of the gang members. And yes, he has all the women’s attentions.
Things are still icy between Bailey and Nolan. He is not happy that she’s working with a hitman to take out her ex-husband. We can’t really blame him for this. Hitmen are dangerous—and illegal!—and Jason is already a dangerous man out on the streets. Nolan wants to handle this the legal way, otherwise his job would be on the line.
