Sometimes, parents just need to stay out of it. That’s likely the case in FBI: International season 4, episode 3.

Wes Mitchell has made his methods clear. While Smitty didn’t really like the situation at first, she is learning to handle it. After all, Wes just wants to save people. He’s not purposely trying to make Smitty’s job harder.

Instead of Wes making the job harder in the new episode, it’s going to be the parents of the missing teen. The Fly Team should tell the parents to sit back.

A missing teen in Portugal in FBI: International season 4, episode 3

When a group of American teens head to Portugal for a senior year trip, it’s supposed to be all about fun and getting that first shot of being an adult. It’s going to turn dangerous for one teen, who ends up going missing while at a beach party.

By the time the Fly Team is called in, the team has been missing for 10 hours. It’s a race against time, as we all know what could have happened.

When the parents get involved, things get even harder. The parents have different opinions about how the situation should be handled. Is this a sign that one of the parents has something to do with the disappearance? There’s usually something much more nefarious going on in these cases for TV, so which parent is up to something shady?

Hopefully, this episode will give us time to see Wes work with the team. The last couple of episodes have seen him run off without the team, but he needs to remember that there are capable people who can also do the job.
