The Fugitive Task Force will think back to an event of the past in FBI: Most Wanted season 6, episode 10. Get ready for the show’s return tonight, Tuesday, Jan. 28.

The winter break is finally over. CBS is back to normal this week for the most part, and that’s certainly the case for Tuesday nights. We’re ending the night with a new episode of FBI: Most Wanted¸ and it’s going to be one connected to a real event in the past.

What was the 1985 MOVE bombing?

On May 13, 1985, the Philadelphia Police Department bombed and destroyed a series of residential homes in the Cobbs Creek neighborhood. It was during a standoff with the black liberation organization MOVE.

While the police attempted to evict MOVE members from their homes, the police were shot. This led to police retaliation involving explosive devices being dropped from a helicopter onto the occupied homes. It led to a huge fire that would destroy 61 homes across two city blocks, leaving 250 people homeless. In total, six adults and five children were killed, and it’s something that still remains in the hearts of the people of Philadelphia.

While the action was deemed unconstitutional, it doesn’t change what happened. It’s all going to come up in the new episode of FBI: Most Wanted.

What’s the case in FBI: Most Wanted?

During the episode, the Fugitive Task Force will be called out to a series of deadly fires. They all involve descendants of those who caused the bombings.

At not point will I say that what happened was right. I completely stand with the people of Philadelphia. However, the descendants of those who committed the atrocities aren’t the guilty party. We shouldn’t pay for our ancestors’ crimes and mistakes unless we are still carrying out the harm to this day.

As a personal storyline for the episode, we’ll focus on Nina. Her sister is coming to down again in a time of need. The last time we saw Nina’s sister, there were no pleasant words said, so what’s going on for her to need Nina’s help?
