FBI season 7 premiere: Tiffany Wallace exit explained
We knew Tiffany Wallace was leaving FBI at some point in season 7. And we had a feeling that it was going to be linked to the season 6 finale. We got answers in the premiere.
Caution: This post contains spoilers for the FBI season 6 premiere.
The premiere episode brought a standalone case for the team, but it was Tiffany that we were focused on. The show confirmed Katherine Renee Kane would leaving during season 7, and we had a feeling we would only get one episode with her.
There were a lot of theories about how she would leave, and in the end, the story was a little anticlimactic.
Tiffany had already resigned before the FBI season 7 premiere
It turned out that Tiffany had resigned before the premiere episode. She was working her last day, and going Scola and the rest of the team on the mission. She made it clear that there was nothing more dangerous than having a field agent who didn’t really want to be out in the field, hinting almost that she was ready for a career behind the desk. That is surprising considering the character development we’d already had for Tiffany, but I guess one experience can cause a turn.
Scola tried to talk her out of it, but that was never going to work. As Tiffany pointed out, Scola had never been able to talk her out of anything.
What’s next for Tiffany in FBI?
The good news is the exit doesn’t need to be permanent in a sense that Tiffany wasn’t killed off. When Maggie suggested that they get a drink, Tiffany explained that she was heading to Georgia to be closer to her sister.
She explained that she needed closure after everything that happened to Agent Hobbs. She thought Hakim being gone would help, but that wasn’t the case. So, a fresh start it is.
