What to expect on FBI season 8 episode 7
The episode follows the team looking into an explosion at a New York apartment building that is much trickier than it initially seems. It turns out that the perpetrator isn't acting on his own accord. He's working on behalf of a convicted felon who is currently serving time in a federal prison.
This means the team needs to go into the prison to get some answers, and that's going to put them all at risk. After all, no inmate wants to see cops inside, and we see from the promo that Scola and Eva end up trapped in the infirmary as the inmates attack. Maggie and OA will need to find a way to help from the outside, but there's only so much that they can do.
When a large-scale explosion rocks a Brooklyn apartment complex, the team quickly locates the perpetrator and discovers he's acting on the orders of a convicted felon currently serving time; Isobel must name her successor.
Meanwhile, Isobel has a decision to make. It's time for her to choose the person to take over her former role so she can fully take on her promotion. The issue is that she would really like Jubal to take that job, knowing that he has done a great job acting for her, but those higher up don't like Jubal and won't take that decision easily. Will Isobel decide to promote him anyway, because it's about time, isn't it?
FBI airs on Mondays at 9/8c on CBS.
