Found season 2, episode 14 focused mostly on the case for the M&A Team to solve. We also got to see how Sir is losing some control over Gabi. However, there was one line that was important when it comes to Christian.
Caution: This post contains SPOILERS for Found season 2, episode 14.
When Found season 2, episode 13 ended with Gabi telling Sir that Christian had been found dead by suicide, we all questioned whether that was true. There was too much against Christian being dead. This would have been a great way to get under Sir’s skin.
However, the most recent episode seemed to suggest that Christian is definitely dead. Sorry, but I’m not convinced just yet.
Gabi mentioned Christian’s autopsy report in Found season 2, episode 14
While working the case, Gabi noticed that there was Christian’s autopsy on Trent’s desk. She asked about it, but he kept the conversation on the case at hand. He just mentioned that Christian’s cause of death is consistent with suicide.
So, this would suggest that Christian is definitely dead. If that’s the case, why haven’t we seen a body yet? Found is a smart show, and all the writers know that nobody is dead on TV until we see a body. However, a conversation about the autopsy between Gabi and Trent doesn’t make a lot of sense if Christian isn’t really dead. Who are they performing for?
Gabi isn’t upset about this death enough in Found
Gabi takes losses hard. She has a whole room full of the people she couldn’t save so that she can remember them. They are the reason she fights so hard to save the ones that she can find. The way she told Sir that Christian was dead and the way she’s acting now doesn’t make sense. She would be a lot more hurt if she thought Christian was really dead.
There would have also been more of a conversation at M&A if Christian was really dead. She and Lacey had had a conversation about how Christian couldn’t have been the one working with Sir. Lacey would have brought something up to Gabi.
Are Gabi and Trent trying to get the real Sir accomplice to mess up? Maybe if this accomplice thinks that they’ve found Christian dead, the accomplice will slip up. Trent may not have been convinced that Christian wasn’t the accomplice, but he also trusts Gabi’s instincts. So, part of him may be willing to go along with this if it means getting the real accomplice (or for him to prove to Gabi that he was right).
