We have left Gabi in a dangerous situation in Found season 2. We won’t get to find out what happens to her for a while.
There isn’t a new episode on tonight, Thursday, Nov. 28. That isn’t all that surprising considering it’s Thanksgiving. NBC always airs the Thanksgiving night football game, and 2024 is no different. The network can’t air two things at once.
Even if it didn’t have the game, there wouldn’t be a new episode of a scripted show. This is a night when people spend time with family and play board games, or they watch the game somewhere. Maybe they’re getting an early night after too much turkey dinner. What they’re not doing is watching regular TV. So, rather than run the risk with a major dip in the linear ratings, NBC and other broadcast networks opt for specials and reruns.
Found is taking a break for the rest of 2024
There is some more bad news about the series, though. We have to wait some time to find out what’s happened to Gabi. Found is now on its winter break, which means no more episodes in 2024.
The good news is that NBC has set the return date. The Found season 2 winter premiere will air on Thursday, Jan. 16. The episode will air at 10 p.m. ET/PT, straight after new episodes of the two Law & Order shows. This is good news as it means NBC is happy with the current lineup and there isn’t too long to wait for the three shows to return.
There is a small glimpse at what we can expect in the new episode. In the promo, we see Gabi in the school Sir lured her to. Someone hits her over the head. Now, we would like to presume Sir did it, but he has someone else working for him. There are high chances that someone is Danielle Favre’s character, as we know the Station 19 vet is coming into the series at some point. Sir has been secretly talking to someone, and we’re highly suspicious it’s her character.
The rest of the M&A Team don’t know where Gabi has gone. They’re going to be working with all the information Gabi has allowed them to see or that Zeke is able to share, which isn’t going to be easy when they need to keep Trent out of it to protect Zeke.
