After getting back from the basement of the dance hall in Countdown episode 3, Meachum shared that he saw a name on the wall. The name Gallagher was pinned up, as if it was something important.
So, for two episodes, the team got to work on figuring out who this Gallagher could be. In Countdown season 1, episode 6, it looked like the person was found. There was a man named Gallagher who likely knew Novochev. Would this be the man Volchek was after?

Countdown adds to the case with Gallagher’s entrance
Meachum and Oliveras went to Gallagher’s house, only to immediately find it booby-trapped. On top of that, it was empty. It meant that Finau and Bell needed to head to the mall to see the man who regularly visited Gallagher in prison. That eventually led to a phone number, allowing Shepherd to track Gallagher’s location.
Of course, there was a car chase, but in the end, Gallagher was taken into custody. He wasn’t giving up any information, but that wasn’t because he was trying to protect anyone. The guy genuinely had no idea about any plot, and none of the names meant anything to him.

Did Meachum get the wrong name in Countdown?
It led to Bell questioning whether Meachum had the right name. It was dark and Meachum only saw things for seconds. It would have been easy for Meachum to get it wrong.
Of course, we know that Meachum is likely worried that he got it wrong. He has a brain tumor, and he knows that could possibly affect his memory. So, now he’s likely worried that the name Gallagher wasn’t right, but he can’t admit to that, so he lashed out.
Blythe is on Meachum’s side, though. He pulls Bell aside and privately tells Bell to get ideas of his own before he questions a member of the team. I don’t agree with this, and I think they should consider that the name is wrong, but Blythe is showing that he trusts Meachum.

Gallagher explained in Countdown season 1, episode 6
Well, it turns out that the name Gallagher was up there, but it isn’t connected to a person. At the start of Countdown season 1, episode 6, Volchek was working with a company to get something delivered. The delivery came in at the end.
It’s three trucks, and while we have no idea what’s inside, that’s not important. The front of the three trucks says Gallagher Freights. It was a company Volchek was planning on working with.
Countdown airs on Wednesdays on Prime Video.
