Tuesday is here, and we’re used to tuning into Will Trent and then High Potential straight after. While the former does have a new episode, High Potential is now heading on another break. There isn’t a new episode tonight, Tuesday, Feb. 10.

There’s even more bad news, though, as we won’t get a new episode at all for the next few weeks. We have to wait until March for the show’s return, but there should be good news after this.

Why isn’t High Potential on tonight, Tuesday, Feb. 10?

What’s the deal with the break? There are a couple of reasons for this, and one of those is the Winter Olympic Games. While the Games air on NBC, the other broadcast networks don’t want to risk too much in terms of viewership on great shows, so ABC is putting a few of its shows on hold. There will be new episodes of The Rookie and Will Trent, but all other scripted shows are on hold.

The other reason is linked to the number of episodes left and the need to stretch those episodes to May. High Potential will have 18 episodes, and right now, the show has aired 12 of them. With just six episodes left, there is a need to take breaks here and there, and it makes more sense to time that break with something else big that’s happening in the world.

HIGH POTENTIAL - “NPC” - When a former esports champion is mysteriously murdered, both his gaming rival and a sushi chef are under suspicion. Time spent with Elliot unexpectedly provides Morgan with insights on the case. Karadec reconnects with a woman from his past. TUESDAY, JAN. 27 (9:00-10:00 p.m. EST) on ABC. When the series does return, it should mean that there are minimal breaks needed. In fact, we’ll likely see the six episodes air into April, and the show go on a slightly earlier break compared to Will Trent and The Rookie.

When will High Potential return with new episodes?

We’re looking at waiting until March 2026 for new episodes. The series would have likely returned the week after the Winter Olympics ended, but the State of the Union Address will happen on Tuesday, Feb. 24, so that takes out the day for all Tuesday shows.

High Potential season 2 episode 13 will air on Tuesday, March 3. We already have an idea of what to expect thanks to the promo, which sees Morgan and Karadec investigate a murder that may not have happened in the location where they find the body. While it’s been made to look like someone was killed in a carjacking gone wrong, that person was shot in the chest, and it looks like whoever killed the person wanted to hide the victim’s identity.

Why? There is a lot to look forward to with this episode.

High Potential returns on Tuesday, March 3 at 9/8c on ABC.
