High Potential ended with a major cliffhanger. Of course it did. It was a fall finale, and they need to end in a way that makes us need more, so we’re ready for when the show returns. The great news is that High Potential season 2 episode 8 airs tonight, Tuesday, Jan. 6, and it’s at a great time.
What time is High Potential season 2 episode 8 on ABC?
After starting off in the last timeslot of the night, High Potential will move to 9/8c on Tuesdays. It’s sandwiched between Will Trent and The Rookie, creating a night of quirky crime dramas. And we are here for it.
This happened with the first season, as well. It was a great move on ABC’s part, as High Potential had a stronger audience when it returned due to the earlier time. So, make sure you don’t miss out.
You can watch ABC live with your cable provider, and you can also tune in via YouTube TV and Fubo TV — or other cord-cutting options similar to that. If you happen to miss the episode live, it’ll be on Hulu on Wednesday, Jan. 7.
What to expect on High Potential season 2 episode 8
The series returns with Morgan admitting to Karadec that she had a night with Rhys. It has to come up because she tells Karadec that she saw a scar on Rhys’s shoulder, suggesting that he could be Jean Baptiste, the infamous art-stealing ghost. At least she’s honest with him, and it’s not like they’re together (yet) for him to be jealous.
In fact, the promo shows that Morgan isn’t the only one hooking up with people. Who is the woman in Karadec’s apartment? Enquiring minds would like to know.
The focus is going to be on the art thief (and now murderer) when the series returns, though. The end of the fall finale brought us a dead body, as the curator had turned up dead. Rhys was with Morgan, so it would suggest that either he isn’t acting alone or he isn’t the art thief.
The synopsis tells us that there will be more about Roman and the backpack. At the end of the High Potential season 2 fall finale, Arthur got a visit from a man looking for the backpack. We see in the trailer that Arthur has a black eye and warns Morgan that people are looking for it and are not messing around. Serena has the backpack, though, and she’s working through the evidence, so what will she come across?
High Potential airs on Tuesdays at 9/8c on ABC.
