There has been a lot of focus on Ava and figuring out everything with her dad on High Potential season 2, but the ninth episode will focus on a different one of Morgan’s children. It’s all about Elliot on High Potential season 2 episode 9.
Elliot is the elder of Morgan and Ludo’s children, and he’s incredibly smart. He’s also still just a child, and his dream is so perfectly understandable. We’re sure to get some humor but also a heartfelt message in this plot of the episode.

Elliot wants his parents back together on High Potential season 2 episode 9
There’s one dream for a lot of children of separated parents. They want to see their parents back together, especially if they see their parents are getting along so well. It’s understandable, as well. Once you start to see them getting along, you wonder why they broke up in the first place.
As Morgan and Karadec investigate the mysterious death of a hitman in a car crash, they uncover details that force the LAPD and FBI to partner on the case; Elliott tries to rekindle romance for his parents.
However, some parents are better off separated, and as adults we know that. However, Elliot may be smart, but he’s still just a kid, and he’s going to try whatever he can to get his parents back together. The great thing about this is it means that Ludo is back in the episode. Taran Killam hasn’t been in many episodes of High Potential season 2 due to landing a leading role on Stumble, but he is still mentioned, and he is still a part of the series, so it’ll be exciting to see him back for this storyline.
When a hitman dies on High Potential
Sometimes, we get the reminder that murder is wrong no matter who the victim is. That’s the case on High Potential season 2 episode 9, as the victim is a hitman. This hitman has died in a car crash that most definitely wasn’t an accident. According to the promo, the man’s brakes were cut, so someone wanted him dead.
And so, the FBI and LAPD will need to work together as more details are uncovered. Morgan finds herself focused on the orange golf balls that are all over the top of where the crash occurred, so we know they’re going to be some bigger part of the episode. Is it possible the hitman was scoping something out up there, or was someone watching the hitman?
Nothing mentions one of the big storylines to come out of High Potential season 2 episode 8, which was that Arthur had presumably been abducted, and someone had their eyes on Morgan. The hunt for Roman is still not over, and Morgan and the cops likely aren’t the only people looking for him.
High Potential airs on Tuesdays at 9/8c on ABC and streams the following day on Hulu.
