High Potential is taking a break ahead of its fall finale
There isn’t a new episode of High Potential tonight. The series is taking its second break of the season, and it’s for the same reason as the first one.
Yes, it’s all about politics. The first break was due to a debate. This second break is because it’s Election Night. All the big networks are airing their own election coverage, and that means no time for our favorite scripted shows.
There is some good news, though. You can watch all previous six episodes of High Potential on Hulu tonight if you don’t want to watch the election coverage.
High Potential returns with its fall finale
Now for some bittersweet news. The good is that High Potential returns next Tuesday, Nov. 12. The bad news is that it will only be for one week. The next episode is going to be the fall finale, and that means we’re heading into a break for the rest of 2024.
It’s going to be a big episode that puts lives on the line, though. It’s Morgan’s day off, but she’s bringing Ava to the police station to show her around. Of course, in true crime drama form, bringing your kid to work on your day off leads to danger.
Two people walk in and hold the whole precinct hostage. Someone they know is facing a hefty prison sentence for a murder they didn’t commit. Now someone is going to have to figure out the real killer if they want to get everyone out alive.
Who’s their best detective? Of course, Morgan puts her hand up for that. However, we always see that solving crimes involves teamwork. What are the chances that Ava will even show off the skills she has—and hopefully will stop putting herself down just because she’s not like her mom?
Check out the promo and synopsis for High Potential season 1, episode 7 to get ready for the episode:
"Morgan agrees to show Ava around the LAPD, but things quickly take a dangerous turn when the precinct is held hostage by the friends of a recently convicted man. Can Morgan and the detectives outsmart their captors and lead everyone to safety?"
High Potential airs on Tuesdays at 10/9c on ABC. Catch up the following day on Hulu.
