Things got dicey for Matty in the previous episode of Matlock now that secrets are out. How will all that play out in the Matlock season 1 finale?
The previous episode saw Matty have no choice but to spill the beans on her plan and all her lies to Olympia. Naturally, Olympia was angry, but it does look like she’s listening to the words Matty is saying. She knows that someone did do something bad with the Wellbrexa case, and now she wants to get answers, too.
At the end of the previous episode, Matty and Olympia turned up at the Kingston home. Now the two of them, Edwin, and Alfie will need to figure out what’s next in this case, and then decide whether there is a friendship after this.

What to expect in the Matlock season 1 finale
It’s clear that we’ll see more of Matty and Olympia working together. At the end of the previous episode, they turned up at Matty’s house. Just before that, Olympia had checked in with Julian to find out where the money for their townhouse back in the day came from. Julian said it was from his mom, who finally allowed him access to the trust fund, but Matty didn’t think so. It came from a payoff to hide a Wellbrexa document.
Meanwhile, Sarah’s client is arrested for murder, and she will need all the help that she can get to prove her client didn’t do it. Billy is on her side for this.
What I’m curious about is whether Sarah and Billy will end up finding out about Matty’s secret identity. Is there any way for Matty to continue working at the law firm when Olympia knows the full truth?
