Now that Matty and Olympia are on the same page, it’s time for them to focus on taking down Senior. That’s not going to be so easy in Matlock season 2 episode 4.
During the previous episode, Matty and Olympia finally saw eye-to-eye. They will work together to take down Senior. While it doesn’t rule out all the bad that Julian has done, it will take away the head of the snake. After all, this should then wipe out the terrible things that Jacobson and Moore does.
Well, I wouldn’t say it will as there are surely other terrible people in the law firm, but it will help. And it looks like Julian is also on their side now that Olympia is forcing him to face his own devilish deeds.
Olympia and Matty have a problem in Matlock season 2 episode 4
The promo opens with Olympia coming to Matty’s home with an announcement, “We have a problem.” The way that she says “we” would suggest that this is linked to the Wellbexa case, but that’s not necessarily the case.
After all, the two are going to work together on a wrongful death case. It’s possible that Olympia finds something in that, and that she needs Matty or even Alfie’s computer skills to figure something out. Now that Olympia knows where Matty lives, it’s also possible that she’s just more comfortable heading out there because it’s more secure than the office for these types of chats.
Julian also seems to find something as he logs into the Jacobson and Moore servers. The question is whether this is linked to Wellbrexa or the wrongful death case. Now that Julian has been heavily demoted, he will need to do a lot of the grunt work in the cases, so he could be assigned to this one.
Someone from Senior’s past comes into the episode
The synopsis for Matlock season 2 episode 4 tells us that Matty will meet someone from Senior’s past. If we hadn’t already met Eva in Matlock season 2 episode 3, I would have suggested that this would be her. After all, an ex-wife tends to know a lot of information about people.
However, this seems to be someone else, and it could be another one of his four ex-wives. It could also be someone who used to work for him, someone during the Wellbrexa case.
This season certainly seems to be shaping up to be something exciting now that it’s moved forward with the storyline.
