Whenever we get an actor from another show leading something new, there are questions about reunions. Just look at how often Josh Dallas was asked if there would be a Once Upon a Time reunion on Manifest! Well, it turns out that there is a reunion coming to The Hunting Party, and we can’t wait!

Melissa Roxburgh appeared on The Today Show on Thursday, Jan. 8 to promote the second season of the series. It premieres tonight, with Eric McCormack and his son taking on the role of Ron Simms — giving us a younger and an older version of the character. There are also other exciting guest stars to come including Kelsey Grammar and Elizabeth Gillies. However, the Manifest reunion certainly caught our attention.

Which Manifest star is coming to The Hunting Party?

Something Roxburgh really wanted to see happen on her new show was Josh Dallas to appear, and her wish has come true. The two played siblings on Manifest from beginning to end, both finding themselves five years in the future after they ended up on a different flight from their family members. However, don’t expect some similar bonds to form on The Hunting Party.

Roxburgh shared that Dallas will appear on The Hunting Party season 2 episode 8. At least, that’s the episode that she thinks it will be. Of course, some of the episodes can end up filming out of order, and there are times that actors don’t quite remember the episodes they shot clearly. That’s okay! We’ll just be ready!

What she did reveal was that he will play a serial killer. While in the interview, she did share that one of the exciting things about the guest stars is that they’re often actors who play good characters in the past, and on The Hunting Party, they get to play some of the worst serial killers. It allows them to step out of the zone that we’re so used to seeing them in, and that’s certainly going to be the case with Dallas.

The Hunting Party season 2 has changed filming locations

There will likely be a different feel to The Hunting Party, and not just because some of the reveals from the season 1 finale that we’re waiting for. Roxburgh shared that the filming locations have changed.

The first season was filmed in Vancouver, Canada, which is popular because of lower costs. However, the second season has moved to New York, which happens for a variety of reasons, including tax incentives that can be on offer. She shared that it feels a little like a new show, but how much of that we’ll feel is debatable. There are going to be other elements of the show that make us feel like it’s something new.

The Hunting Party season 2 premieres on Thursday, Jan. 8 at 10/9c on NBC.
