Lala needs to deal with her CI being shot on the NCIS: Origins season 2 fall finale. You will not want to miss a beat.
And just to make sure you’re aware, while NCIS: Origins will air its fall finale tonight, Tuesday, Dec. 9, the same is not the case for NCIS or NCIS: Sydney. Both of those shows still have an episode to go before they wrap for 2025. This is a little confusing, but it suggests that NCIS: Origins will be at least one episode shorter than the other two shows this season.
Back to the episode, though, as this is a huge one for Lala. She may want to learn Gibbs’ Rule No. 10.

What time is NCIS: Origins season 2 episode 8 on CBS?
The episode will air at its usual time of 9 p.m. ET/PT tonight, Tuesday, Dec. 9. It sits in between new episodes of NCIS and NCIS: Sydney, as usual.
You can watch CBS in a few ways to make sure you catch the episode live. Of course, via your cable provider is the easiest option, but CBS is available on YouTube TV and Fubo TV for those who have cut the cord.
Paramount+ is another excellent option, as there is a live viewing option for some plans. If you happen to miss the episode live, you’ll be able to tune into NCIS: Origins season 2 episode 8 on Paramount+ from 3 a.m. ET/12 a.m. PT on Wednesday, Dec. 10.
What to expect on the NCIS: Origins season 2 fall finale
The fall finale is a big one for Lala, as her CI, “Twitchy Tony,” is shot. Of course, she wants to get to the bottom of the shooting, and it’s possible that this is something that forces her to team up with Flaco. Lala is right in the position that Flaco wants her to be, but is that because he shot her CI, or is it because he’s just getting to pick up the pieces?
More importantly, this is a chance to see how Lala looks at her CIs, and how she cares about them. They are people to her, and Twitchy Tony is her favorite. They are like siblings, and NCIS: Origins has a chance to explore that.
When Lala's favorite CI is shot, the team joins forces with Oceanside PD to determine who was behind the attack; Franks visits his brother Mason at the compound; Gibbs' relationship with Diane is tested when she gets a job in Los Angeles.
Meanwhile, Diane gets a job offer in Los Angeles, and this is going to lead to a conversation about her and Gibbs’ relationship. Of course, Gibbs feels torn right now, because he does have feelings for Lala, but Diane is a keeper, so what decision will the two make when it comes to their relationship and her job offer?
Meanwhile, we’ll get a chance to see how Mason’s life is now that he’s at the compound. Mike and Mason were estranged for so long, but they’ve been able to push the past aside and support each other, and we’ll get to see more of that.
NCIS: Origins airs on Tuesdays at 9/8c on CBS.
