It looks like McGee will get help from the team in a rather different way in NCIS season 23 episode 6. He’s going to need it, considering the situation that he’s in.

After spending a week solving one of Gibbs’s cases from the 1990s, the team is back with a case that is very much in the present. However, it’s going to be a rather personal one, as one of their own has been taken.

What time is NCIS season 23 episode 6 on CBS?

NCIS season 23 episode 6 moves back into its regular timeslot tonight, Tuesday, Nov. 18. While it moved into the second hour of the night last week for the two-part crossover event with NCIS: Origins, the new episode is a standalone that is focused very much on the current team. So, you’ll need to tune in at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CBS, and stick around for NCIS: Origins and then NCIS: Sydney.

As usual, CBS makes it very easy to watch the episodes live, as you can do so with Paramount+ or through your regular cable channel. Cut the cord? YouTube TV and Fubo TV are just two options to watch the majority of broadcast channels live.

Of course, not everyone can watch live, so you need to know where to stream the series. NCIS is available on Paramount+, and this episode will drop around 3 a.m. ET/12 a.m. PT on Wednesday, Nov. 19.

What to expect on NCIS season 23 episode 6

The new episode will see McGee taken by his supposed #1 fan, and that certainly brings a sense of Misery by Stephen King into the mix. The team will need to figure out where McGee is, as he was supposed to be promoting the latest novel in his Deep Six series.

When McGee is kidnapped while promoting his latest book in the Deep Six crime series, the team investigates his self-professed “#1 fan” – and a potential link to a murder case involving stolen classified documents.

It looks like McGee will get some help from the team, but not his regular team. It’s the characters in his head, giving us a chance to see how he imagines Parker, Torres, and Knight when it comes to solving cases.  There are images making it clear we’ll get to see Professor Parkman, Rick Suares, and Knightingdale, and I just can’t wait for this team-up! The cast must have had so much fun with this episode.

Then there’s an actual case to solve at the same time. There seems to be a link between McGee’s abduction and some stolen classified documents, so just how deep does this conspiracy go? What has McGee been taken to do?

NCIS airs on Tuesdays at 8/7c on CBS.
