The time has come for another season of TV to come to an end. Yes, that includes NCIS: Sydney season 2, and the finale date is fast approaching.

The team has been through some major issues in recent episodes, with some sort of outside force causing problems. We’re all waiting for the finale to see what’s really going on, and who is behind the upset.

When will the NCIS: Sydney season 2 finale air on CBS?

CBS is the only network to make all its finale dates clear, and we’ll see NCIS: Sydney Season 2 come to an end later this month. This is earlier than we’re used to, but it shows how the TV season schedule is changing.

The NCIS: Sydney season 2 finale will air on Friday, April 25. This is the same date as the Fire Country season 3 finale, but we’ll wait a few more weeks for SWAT to come to an end.

What to expect in the NCIS: Sydney season 2 finale

The case of the week is going to involve a missile found on the even of a World War II ceremony. It’s easy to overlook how Australia was affected by World War II as there tends to be a lot of focus on the European front rather than the Japanese one, and this episode will help to bring that up a little. However, a missing stinger missile is going to threaten the celebrations, and the team will need to get to the bottom of it.

There have been a few issues throughout the season, with someone pulling strings that forced the Department of Defence’s Rankin to get involved and play dirty. Now that Rankin is in a coma due to an unnecessary pacemaker, it’s up to the team to get to the bottom of what Rankin was doing and why. According to an interview with TV Insider, this is one of those cases that is a lot more personal than it initially seems to be, and we should get answers in the second season finale.

NCIS: Sydney has been renewed for a third season, but CBS hasn’t confirmed where it will air in the schedule just yet. This is likely to be a midseason series again, especially with the shows that are already expected on the fall schedule.

NCIS: Sydney season 2 airs on Fridays at 8/7c on CBS. Catch up the following day on Paramount+.
