Throughout The Hunting Party season 1, we got to know Bex well. She’s a mom, an excellent profiler, and a woman who definitely knows how to stand her ground. However, the end of the first season her potentially unemployed.
AG Mallory was done with the way the task force was handled. It was supposed to be a huge secret, and it ended up failing. However, there are still plenty of criminals out there, and the team will need to stick together to figure out where they are and what to do with them next in The Hunting Party season 2.
Bex could be dealing with grief in The Hunting Party season 2
A major storyline that will need to be picked up on from the way season 1 ended is the potential loss that Bex is facing. She got to Odell, but it may not have been in time. Jenna had placed one of her patches on his neck, and Bex got to him as he started to bleed from his nose.
This is a sign that he’s going to die from whatever Jenna laces her patches with. It would mean a rush to the hospital, but the two were supposed to be working in secret after the task force shut down. Other members of the team were off dealing with their own things, including Shane learning about the identity of his mother, who happens to be Colonel Lazarus.
So, is there enough time to get someone to Odell to get him to the hospital? This may be the first major loss Bex will have to face.
Bex needs to continue her work to catch the criminals
On top of that, there’s the need to catch the criminals and figure out what was going on in The Pit. It’s clear that AG Mallory knows more than she is letting on, and she doesn’t like the fact that Bex and her team got close to the details. Now Bex will need to find a way to operate in secret.
It could help with Lazarus seeming to want to help. However, she helped in The Hunting Party season 1 finale knowing that she needed Jenna and not to allow Jenna into the wrong hands. Maybe she will be a little more forthcoming with information, since the show needs to keep her in considering her connection to Shane.
Does she know about Shane being her son? Probably, and this is something that Bex is sure to figure out as the group interacts more.
