For the whole of Found season 2, Gabi and Sir were mostly kept apart. Sir had been arrested, even going as far as telling the police that Gabi never abducted him during the first season.
It didn’t feel quite right, but it was a lot of fun watching how unhinged Sir could get as he felt like he was losing control. Found season 3 could have offered more of that, but there was one big problem. We last saw him laying on the floor of his cell with blood everywhere, and it looked like he was dead.
Sir could have survived in Found season 3
We don’t really think that Found would have killed Sir off. For one, the attack happened off-screen, which isn’t fitting for a character such as his. The series has been too well written to even consider doing something like that.
So, it’s likely that there is still a pulse and he would be taken to the prison hospital. Maybe he’d be taken to a traditional hospital with a guard, getting brain surgery that he would likely need. This would put him closer to Gabi and the M&A Team, but this is clearly a serious brain injury, which could change so much about him.
Could Sir see a change in personality in Found?
Depending on the type of brain injury he gets, it’s possible that Sir could become somewhat of a different person. Maybe it affects his memory, leading him to not quite being as smart as he once was. It could have even changed some elements of who he is as a person, such as his narcissistic and sociopathic traits.
There have been many people who want a redemption arc for Sir, but that’s not possible with the way he is right now. Sir doesn’t believe that anything he has done is wrong, so something would need to happen to him to make him realize that. Such a brain injury could lead to him getting the redemption arc that people are desperate to see.
What could it mean for his work with the FBI?
By the end of Found season 2, Sir was able to aid the FBI, but he kept making it clear that he wanted Gabi in return. The agreement with the FBI seemed to come to an end in the Found season 2 finale, but that’s not necessarily the case. It would all depend on who made the final calls.
However, what could the injury mean for that deal? This could depend on how Sir was permanently affected by the injury. If he ends up losing memories or becoming a different person, he may not end up being as useful to the FBI, which could lead to life in prison.
