It’s hard to believe that we’re at the end of Found season 2. I know the series has been canceled, but I refuse to believe that it’s the end of the series. This show is too good and too important to cancel forever.
Caution: This post contains SPOILERS for the Found season 2 finale.
However, the Found season 2 finale has aired, and it’s time to see just how it all played out. The penultimate episode left us with the question of whether the team would find Jamie or not, and while the finale took us through that case, we had another missing persons case to solve. Dhan’s past came up with a man called Mike turning to him for help.

Dhan’s past resurfaces as he searches for a missing person in Found season 2
During the penultimate episode, Dhan and Agent Millan discussed the past. Millan shared that he was chatting to one of their former friends, Mike, who happened to be the man who caused Dhan’s capture for three years. Of course, there’s a lot of bad blood, but Dhan also knows Mike’s wife, who has gone missing, and he decides that he will help the situation.
Dhan learns that Desiree met with people from her past before going missing. At first, it looks like one of them may have taken Desiree, or maybe Mike was involved in the way that the FBI believes. However, Trent realizes that she was going on an apology tour. The drugs found in Desiree and Mike’s apartment were linked to cancer treatments, and Desiree knew that this time, she couldn’t fight it.
And so, the hunt is on for a sick Desiree so that Mike can be by his wife in her final days. It’s not easy when people make it difficult. Of course, the difficult people are the ones usually involved in the disappearance of someone.

Desiree’s mom, who is also an oncologist, has taken Desiree. Trent and Dhan gets to them, with Desiree making it clear that she wanted closure, but now her mom won’t let her go. Sloan was giving Desiree natural remedies, with one of them being cinnamon, which Desirre is allergic to. Can the M&A Team get her to the hospital in time?
Dhan shares that Desiree did decide to give the clinical trial a chance, giving her and Mike some more time. There’s somewhat of a hopeful ending for the two. As for Mike and Dhan, this doesn’t change too much. Dhan isn’t ready to completely forgive Mike yet, but there is a hint that it’s possible in the future.

Margaret doesn’t want Gabi to sacrifice herself for Jamie in the Found season 2 finale
When Jamie’s phone is pinged to the house, they all rush over. Margaret gets into the room first, seeing a piece of paper and the phone. She quickly hides the paper, showing everyone the phone with a picture of Jamie holding a sign. Gabi quickly points out that the words are the names of a trilogy of books, giving them a clue.
Darryl is quick to throw Margaret into the deep end, pointing out that there was a piece of paper. It turns out that it’s an affidavit to sign, claiming that Gabi was never taken by Sir. Margaret doesn’t want Gabi to hand herself over for Jamie. However, Gabi is ready to hand herself over to Lena.
Darryl is also more than happy for Gabi to hand herself over. He keeps pointing out that Margaret didn’t tell him that their son was back, and that she lost “his” son again. Well, Margaret is done with his attitude and abuse. Sure enough, she puts him in his place and shows just how amazing she is. The episode also gives us the flashbacks of when Gabi met Margaret and realized her Margaret Vision was on point, leading to a job offer (and an offer to keep looking for Jamie for free).

Lena has taken Jamie to the high school where Gabi and Sir met, which makes sense. It started there, so it needs to finish there, right? Well, Jamie manages to break of Lena’s binds and holds Lena at gunpoint just as Gabi and Margaret show up. Margaret gets Jamie out, with Gabi now the one holding the gun.
Gabi decides that she’s not going to shoot Lena, because she doesn’t kill victims. She can now see that Lena was Sir’s first victim, groomed from a much younger age so all she can see of love is the “love” that Sir showed her. As she points out that the dream of the Netherlands was actually for Sir and Gabi, it’s clear that Lena has a second to really question whether this was the true.
The plan worked out the way Gabi thought it would, though. Lena is arrested by the cops, although it is a shame that Trent couldn’t do it himself. As Sir is losing all composure in his cell, Gabi, M&A, and their clients are now all safe. Most importantly, Jamie is back with his family.

Gabi gives her final press conference of Found season 2
As Jamie shares that “secrets keep us trapped in the past,” Gabi realizes that she knows what she needs to do. She gives her final press conference of the season, sharing the good news that Jamie was found again.
As Gabi falters in the press release, it’s clear to Lacey that something is wrong. They didn’t expect her to tell the world that she had abducted Sir and held him prisoner for nine months. This confession is to release her own soul, but what does it mean for M&A moving forward? Of course, this is what she wanted to do all season, so M&A arguably should be ready for this.
Meanwhile, Trent rushes to Sir’s cell after getting a call. Sir is in the cell on the floor with blood all over around his head.
What a way to end the season! We have so many questions, and it’s clear that Found season 3 is most definitely needed.
