What could have been next for Hana if FBI: Most Wanted season 7 happened?

FBI: Most Wanted season 7 isn't happening, but what could we have seen for Hana Gibson if it did?
“The Circle Game” - The Fugitive Task Force hunts down a rogue government operative group that is planning a domestic terror attack. Also, the team prepares for big changes, on the series finale of FBI: MOST WANTED, Tuesday, May 20 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, and streaming on Paramount+ (live and on demand for Paramount+ with SHOWTIME subscribers, or on demand for Paramount+ Essential subscribers the day after the episode airs). While FBI: Most Wanted season 7 isn’t happening, it doesn’t mean that we can’t look ahead at what could have been. Hana Gibson ended with some hope and happiness in FBI: Most Wanted season 6, but where could her story have gone had the show gone on, and what type of updates could we get if Nina shows up in the flagship FBI series?

At the end of FBI: Most Wanted, Hana shared that Ethan had finished his rehab program and was moving back to New York. He was going to move in with her, making it much easier for Hana to live without the need to find roommates all the time. Is this the storyline that would have happened had the series not been canceled?

Moving On
“Moving On” – The Fugitive Task Force investigates a series of deadly fires involving the descendants of those who caused the infamous 1985 MOVE bombing in Philadelphia. Meanwhile, Nina’s sister turns to her in a time of need, on FBI: MOST WANTED, Tuesday, Jan. 28 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, and streaming on Paramount+ (live and on demand for Paramount+ with SHOWTIME subscribers, or on demand for Paramount+ Essential subscribers the day after the episode airs)*.

Hana would have still likely moved in with Ethan in FBI: Most Wanted season 7

Even if the series hasn’t been canceled, I don’t feel like this was just a happy ending for the sake of it. Hana and Ethan were making a go of things while he was in rehab, and there was a sense of hope now that the truth had come out. She also loved spending time with his dog, which was an added bonus.

Had FBI: Most Wanted season 7 happened, I think we would have still seen her and Ethan move in. This could have been great for more personal development for Hana, especially if she was still running on the dark web trying to catch criminals. Ethan could have found out what she was doing, leading to a conversation about that.

With Hana showing no signs of wanting to leave the FBI, we’d also have likely seen her managing her job with her relationship. Considering she’s on the road a lot, it could have cause some issues with Ethan, especially if he was having a bad day fighting his sobriety.

Pageantry
“Pageantry” – When an international beauty queen is killed on live television, the Fugitive Task Force heads to Philadelphia to hunt down the killer. Meanwhile, Hana senses that Ethan is hiding something, on FBI: MOST WANTED, Tuesday, Dec. 3 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, and streaming on Paramount+ (live and on demand for Paramount+ with SHOWTIME subscribers, or on demand for Paramount+ Essential subscribers the day after the episode airs). Hana is likely still being the tech boss that she is in FBI: Most Wanted

We can still get some updates about the Fugitive Task Force via Nina Chase, who is romantically connected to Scola in FBI. This will allow us to find out a little more about what’s going on with individual members of the team, and I’d love to hear more about the tech superstar that Hana is.

There could even be a case with the main team that requires some extra tech hands on deck. This could open the door to see Hana again. However, I still stand by statements about her being the best person to join the joint task force with the CIA in the new spinoff. They’ll need a tech guru.

FBI: Most Wanted is available to stream on Paramount+.
