We got to know a little more about Rose in The Irrational season 2, and by the end of the season, she realized what she wanted to do. It was time to open a business in the same city as Alec.
This opened up a lot of doors for Rose to become a permanent part of the series. However, NBC canceled The Irrational after the season 2 finale, and now we’re left wondering what could have been. Let’s take a look at some of the possible storylines.

Rose would have helped Alec with his stalker in The Irrational season 3
The end of The Irrational season 2 saw Alec find out that someone was stalking him. That someone wanted Alec to know about this, by sending photos to him. Rose made it clear that Alec would become her first client, because she was determined to figure out who was after him.
The photos themselves weren’t threatening, but the fact that someone was taking those photos means something more. Rose is sure to learn out the behavioral psychology behind it, as Alec can’t help himself but to explain this. To be honest, it is fascinating, but Rose will be more focused on getting to the bottom of who has taken the photos and why.
I can’t see this taking up more than a couple of episodes are the most, similar to Alec’s search for Rose in The Irrational season 2 premiere. I think it will also settle Rose’s mind a little, as she was a little hesitant about bringing danger to Alec, but it’s clear that danger can come to him too.

Could Rose work with other members of Alec’s circle in The Irrational?
We got to see Rose connect with Marisa during The Irrational season 2, but that was really it. Most of her time was with Alec, which made sense to develop their relationship. However, she would also need to develop a relationship with Kylie, and we’d need to see some storylines of Kylie and Rose getting to know each other.
I would have like to see more of Marisa’s relationship with Rose developing, as well. Marisa put a lot of trust in Rose by sharing the story of her child. The fact that Rose kept Marisa’s secret despite knowing Alec knew showed that Marisa’s trust was well placed. So, the next time something happens, we’d need to see Marisa and Rose turning to each other.
The Irrational is available to stream on Peacock.
