There are no more new episodes of High Potential in 2024 (when will the show return?)

There’s some bad news for High Potential fans. There isn’t a new episode tonight, Tuesday, Nov. 19. There isn’t a new episode at all for the rest of 2024.

The previous episode was the fall finale. It was certainly a big episode, so that made sense. We’re going to see a few shows wrap up for 2024, but the TV schedule is back to normal this year. We will see shows back in the new year.

When will High Potential return in 2025?

Yes, High Potential is back in 2025. There isn’t too long to wait for the series, either. We’ll see High Potential return on Tuesday, Jan. 7.

It’s joining two other crime shows this year, and all three certainly have a similar style. High Potential will join in with Will Trent and The Rookie, and we’re hoping to see this is a good move for the series. After all, we’re still waiting for ABC to renew this freshman series. It deserves it!

There are only 13 episodes in High Potential, so the break at episode 7 makes a lot of sense.

Watch out for the time change

There is a note for High Potential’s return. It’s going to move time slot, and I think this is going to be a great thing for the series.

High Potential will move to the earlier time of 9 p.m. ET/PT. It will follow new episodes of Will Trent, which will kick off Tuesday nights. That time slot was great for that series, and more people are happy to tune into a 9 p.m. ET/PT show rather than one in the later hour.

The Rookie will air in the 10 p.m. ET/PT time slot. This isn’t too dangerous for the veteran show as it already has a strong and loyal following.

High Potential will return on Tuesday, Jan. 7 at 9/8c on ABC. Catch up the following day on Hulu.
