Sundays are packed with drama on both CBS and NBC. Grosse Pointe Garden Society is one that we’ve been tuning into weekly, but there’s a change to the schedule this week.
There is some bad news. There isn’t a new episode of Grosse Pointe Garden Society on tonight, Tuesday, April 6. In fact, if you were waiting for the new episode, then you’ve likely missed when the new episode did actually air! There isn’t going to be new episodes on Sundays from now on.
Grosse Pointe Garden Society has moved to Friday nights
As of this last week, Grosse Pointe Garden Society moved to Friday nights. The first Friday night episode aired on Friday, April 4, and it aired at 8 p.m. ET/PT. Yes, that’s earlier than we’re used to on a Sunday.
With some hope, this move will be a good thing. It’s a permanent move on NBC, unlike the upcoming Found move that fans of that show need to be aware of, and it does show that NBC is concerned about the series but is trying to fix the problem. Sunday nights just aren’t what they used to be for dramas, and Fridays aren’t quite the “death slot” of TV anymore.
Happy’s Place performed well on Fridays, and there is hope that the new dramedy will do the same. It certainly deserves to find its audience, because this is one show that has me guessing and trying to work things out — I often guess the ending way too soon.
When is the next new episode of Grosse Pointe Garden Society?
Don’t expect the new episodes to air on Sundays anymore. The next new episode is on Friday, April 11.

What to expect in the new episode of Grosse Pointe?
This murder mystery just recently confirmed there are two more people who Quiche can’t be, and one of them was one of the main and most obvious suspects. So, the show is narrowing down its potential suspects right now, and we’re still no closer to finding out who killed Molly as that storyline seems to have been forgotten about.
Meanwhile, affairs are being revealed and more people are learning about the murder. The people finding out are ones who can protect our four guilty gardeners, but the more who learn the truth, the more this is likely to come out.
The new episode is sure to take us for more twists and turns. Will Doug turn up in the future to show that he’s not Quiche?
